| Thomas A. Mauro, Principal 
   Thomas A. Mauro is the senior member of the firm. He was  born in Brooklyn, New York,  and educated at Georgetown   University Law   Center (J.D. 1973) and  Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (B.S. Physics 1967). Admitted to Bar,  District of Columbia; Maryland; He is admitted United States Supreme Court;  United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia; United States  Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; and United States Court of Appeals  for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the District  of Columbia and the District of Maryland. 
 Mr. Mauro was employed as a Patent Examiner by the United States Patent Office  in Physics and Optics from 1970 1971. He was retained as Antitrust Consultant  for the District of Columbia  and drafted the District of Columbia Antitrust Act of 1978. He has testified  before Congress on antitrust law and has conducted seminars on antitrust law  for several industry associations.
 
 Mr. Mauro began his career in litigation as Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas  A. Flannery, and as an Honors Program Trial Attorney, United States Department  of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he helped initiate the Governments  antitrust action against AT&T in 1974. Mr. Mauro has continued his career  in complex litigation concentrating on intellectual property, government  contracts and antitrust law in private practice in Washington, D.C.
